Professional Qualifications and Training:
I have a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Theory and Practice which is validated by Roehampton University, and recognised by the British Association of Counselling (BACP), the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) and the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).
I trained as a psychodynamic psychotherapist at WPF Therapy in London, which is one of the leading psychodynamic and psychoanalytic training institutions in the UK, and requires all therapists to be in psychoanalytic therapy during training.
I also have counselling qualifications from WPF Therapy, and have previously trained as a bereavement counsellor with a Bereavement Charity.
My Professional Accreditations and Registrations:
I am registered with the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC), and the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP), and am bound by their ethics and complaints procedures, supervision requirements, and the continuing professional development necessary for sustaining good practice.
In addition to my private practice work, with people facing a wide range of diffficulties in their personal and working lives, I have experience of providing psychotherapy in The NHS and specialised in working with survivors of childhood sexual abuse.
I have also worked as an honorary Psychotherapist at WPF Therapy in London conducting initial consultations for people who wished to find out more about whether psychotherapy could be of benefit to their individual circumstances.
Prior to training as a psychotherapist I volunteered and trained as a bereavement counsellor.
